Day 1: Arrival in Uganda.
Early-morning pick-up and briefing you about your Uganda Gorilla Safari, before starting the journey to Western Uganda.
Stopover at the Equator, afterwards, further travels to Lake Mburo National Park.
In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on Lake Mburo where you may encounter crocodiles, hippos and more.
In the evening, you get the chance to take a nature walk on the walking boards all the way to the salt lick.
Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
After breakfast, take a morning game drive as we make our way out of the park and onto the road to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, home of the famous Gorillas.
Enjoy the beautiful landscape and the rich green vegetation.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking.
In the morning, we are off to the park headquarters for briefing, before a well-trained ranger leads us into the deep forest of Bwindi.
The forest not only hosts the Gorillas, but also many other mammals and birds.
Meet the Gorillas; spend an hour with them and experience what many people call "the most memorable moments of their lives".
Later in the evening, depending on the time of our return, we can have an evening community walk or a nature walk in the surrounding forest trails.
Day 4: Bwindi – Lake Bunyonyi.
After a strenuous trek the day before, it is time to relax.
Where better to do that than at the serene Lake Bunyonyi; one of Africa’s deepest lakes?
You could take a boat ride, or simply relax and enjoy the shores with a taste of some crayfish.
Day 5: Lake Bunyonyi – Kampala.
Enjoy the last views of Lake Bunyonyi over breakfast and later transfer back to Kampala with a few stopovers on the way.
